Food issues

People’s relationship with food can be very complex; sometimes we eat when we are not hungry, and refuse to eat when we are.  These behaviours are often governed by our unconscious minds seeking to fulfil deeper needs or following previously rewarded patterns, and it is very hard for our conscious mind to work in opposition to these needs.  There are many other food related issues, such as refusal of certain food groups, obsessive or ritualised behaviour around food and the eating of non nutritious substances.

Our therapists will help identify what is going on for you and build a way forward for you that puts you back in control through understanding your subconscious needs and meeting them in more appropriate ways.
