The first session will be longer than later sessions (for no extra charge). During your first session you will have the opportunity to discuss your personal and medical history with your therapist, and to explore your goals and expectations from therapy. Your therapist will talk through and explain the process and answer any questions you may have. During this first session you will be able to get to know your therapist, and make your own judgement about whether you would feel able to work openly and in a trusting relationship with him or her, before committing to any further sessions. You may also have the opportunity to experience simple relaxation hypnosis.In further sessions we will spend the time working on your goals and addressing your problems, and will always work with you, at your pace, ensuring that at all times you feel safe, accepted and valued. We may also set you challenges or ask you to practice techniques in between sessions.
